I built a new system for a relative using the H87-G43 MSI board.

Question: Intel Rapid Storage Technology MSI H87-G43 When I shutdown or restart windows - at the next boot it bluescreens but if I boot from my installation media and quit, then it restarts and boots fine. If I boot to my installation media and quit it at the first chance, the system reboots and boots into windows 8 flawlessly. Now this is where things are unexplainable for me. (beta) - rebooted and bluescreened "a required device is missing or failed".

Randomly this morning it just worked, I got to my desktop and started installing drivers - worked fine. I get blue screens before the personalization screens start "winload.exe is missing or corrupt".

Windows 8 installer sees my harddrives in raid mode and continues to install fine. So I backed up my data, changed to RAID mode in BIOS and proceeded to reinstall. I have installed windows 8 in AHCI sata mode and it works flawlessly but I have a solid state drive for caching. I have windows 8 Enterprise 圆4 RTM, an asus sabertooth z77 mobo. Question: Intel Rapid Storage Technology boot issue I'm not good with RAID setups it's ma 1st time. all it does is go to a splash screen with an up and down arrow in the center that do nothing. I also tried installing EZ smart response to see if I could get it to work, but something is up with that. I can't seem to find a similar issue anywhere. I need to go into the RAID setup and disable the acceleration before I can boot up windows. basically it seem that both the HDD and the SSD applicable are disabled and I'm not sure why.

I basically followed the instructions for installation for installing windows for use with IRRT in the GB video on it, changing the "PCH SATA controller mode" to RAID(XHD) before installing windows.ĭid all that, got windows up and going with all my stuff (steam, Paint shop, GB drivers and full update etc) and then turned on IRRT and all worked perfectly fine until I restarted my PC, and got THIS during boot up.
